Three miles west of Ocho Rios, the main tourist area St. Ann, is a Jamaican national treasure, Dunn's River Falls and Park. Water flows 600 feet below the waterfall step. The challenge is to walk up the steps when the water is trying to push you down. Photogenic waterfall featured in "Dr. No," the first James Bond film was made, which came out in 1962.

Turtle Beach Ocho Rios

Turtle Beach is the largest beach of Ocho Rios. Turtle Beach strip of white sand running for more than 1,600 feet along the eastern edge of Ocho Rios Bay. Mahogany Beach presents an alternative smaller but quieter; it is also at the east end of Ocho Rios. The hotel offers a restaurant and bar, as well as a designated swimming area. Island Village Beach is located behind the shopping center of the same name.

It is home to Margaritaville - a bar that serves exotic drinks, a volleyball court and water sports equipment hire vendors, chairs and beach umbrellas. Columbus Foot beach is also close to Island Village and a more rustic option. It is pure Jamaican cook with huts offering everything from fresh seafood to spicy jerk chicken. Not much room for swimming or sunbathing but you can feed themselves while watching the fishing boats sail.
